The short version
- There are no accounts, and dasaas doesn't ask for your name or email.
- Calculators do their math in your browser. What you type isn't sent to dasaas to be calculated, and Save PDF builds the file on your device too.
- dasaas doesn't set cookies.
- Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies either.
Your numbers and the page address
So that results can be shared, each calculator keeps your inputs in the page address (for example?rise=108). The address is updated on your device as you type. If you reload the page or share the link, that address is requested from our host like any other web page, so treat a shared link as you would the numbers in it.
Hosting
dasaas is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses and the pages requested in order to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
Storage on your device
dasaas stores two things in your browser's local storage: your light or dark theme choice, and the list of tools you used recently (shown on the home page). Neither is sent anywhere. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes them. The site may also keep copies of pages you've visited so they open without a connection.
Analytics
To learn which tools people use, dasaas uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. A small script reports each page view to Cloudflare: the page viewed, the site that linked to it, your country, your browser and device type, and how quickly the page loaded. Cloudflare says Web Analytics doesn't use cookies, local storage or fingerprinting, so it counts visits without following you from site to site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
Advertising
dasaas doesn't currently show ads. If that changes, this page will be updated first.
Embedded calculators
When a calculator is embedded on another website, the same rules apply inside it. The other website has its own privacy policy.
